"Email" button

  • maintain a list of email addresses in user settings.
  • after user hits the Email button, we should show that list and send a link to the post to the chosen email address.
  • we could also make an input field in that list for user to enter any email address

    I also came here to find out why there is no email link or button :-( its a basic thing and should be there, please implement.

    This is crazy.. I just figured I didn't know where the option was. This is basic, basic, BASIC, functionality. I'd donate to have this feature implemented.

    Ditto: sharing by email is the only important feature missing from The Old Reader.

    This would seal the deal for me! Quite a few friends are not rss users and I would love to have the option to share via email on a selective basis, rather than than via the FB.

    On another note, I am very pleased with the gReader integration - it's working great for me. Add the email function, and you WIN!

    Agreed, an email button is the ONLY thing I miss from Google Reader, I used to send a lot out of it. Very glad Old Reader is here, I tried a few others, but this is my new home, thanks!

    I am still testing out a few different readers. now that The Old Reader is supported by gReader, this email feature is the only thing holding me back from crowning The Old Reader the winner

    I would very much like the ability to forward a listing from a feed via e-mail. If this is the only mechanism to do that, then I support it. I do not believe that Google Reader required an e-mail list however. THANKS

    Yet ANOTHER vote for this; it is a great way to shoot out information to non-readers, & a great way to convince non-users to get with the program.

    Please add email button and tie into default email program and address book.
