"Email" button
- maintain a list of email addresses in user settings.
- after user hits the Email button, we should show that list and send a link to the post to the chosen email address.
- we could also make an input field in that list for user to enter any email address
Implemented in new Send To functionality

I don't use any Reader for social media, but I DO email articles to people I KNOW will find them interesting. Please may we have a Share By Email button?

Yes, we need to be able to send full articles by email

I would hope if you're logging in with your Google account that if would auto populate with email addresses from your contacts list.

Besides a link, can you send in the email the content of the post? Google Reader works like that and it is very useful. Sending the link is easier by dragging the link to my Mail.app.

confused....where do you enter/maintain a list of email address in users settings. I see no options for making a list.

I think if the goal was to replicate the good features from gReader, then it should follow the functionality that was there. Similar to gReader, I think a blank entry box should open and it should autofill/guess based upon your address book from the system you authenticated to The Old Reader with.
As all of my feeds have yet to be imported (21k+ in front of me still), this is really the one feature that The Old Reader is missing when compared to gReader. While I had a handful of nerdy friends using reader right along with me, most of my sharing was done via email.

it would be very good if we can send the content of the article (full feed) or (feed summary) so the email itself is enough and the recipient doesn't need to go to another link on a website to seed the feed .
thanks .
