Show Commented for friends' shares
It would be nice to have the "Commented" folder come up whenever there is a new comment on any of my friend's shares.

Actually, when I joined The Old Reader it used to do that... but it suddenly stopped displaying the folder, I don't know why :(

Definitely agree on this one. As it is, I can't tell when an item I've shared has generated any kind of reaction among my friends. I think Google Reader used to show "X new comments" in red next to friends' shared articles or your own. Really helpful for gauging when a discussion is happening.
