Speed up interface & Improve feed updating
The interface is rather slow, doing simple things often involves a lot of waiting. Feeds are very slow to update. I have done side by side comparisons with Google reader and found Old Reader to be missing a large number of items.

We are finishing work on refactoring base (and migration) that will speed up some things, including the interface.
Yes, The Old Reader is slower than Google Reader, but it probably has something to do with the size of teams or with our resources vs. Google resources. Now that I think of it, I feel miserable again.
However, we are doing everything we can to make it better. And thank you for patience.

When I view a whole folder the posts are out of chronological order. Posts from November are appearing higher up than posts from yesterday, for example. Ordering of all posts from one feed is fine, it's just when I try to view in aggregate via folder view (I like to survey headlines from categories/folders like news or science blogs all at once).
