Extend keyboard shortcuts
I'd love to be able to exclusively use keyboard shortcuts rather than ever touch the mouse. To that end:
- add a '?' shortcut that gives an overlay describing available shortcuts
- add a shortcut to mark a post unread
Most of requested shortcuts have been implemented, check out the announcement at http://blog.theoldreader.com/
If you think that more keyboard shortcuts should be added, please create separate feature requests for each additional shortcut. This will allow others to vote and will help us prioritize.
UPD: We also have fixed shortcuts for international layouts and added ‘x’ key to toggle posts in list view.

Please add "r" for refresh feeds! I keep hitting that expecting it to... =(

I really want to be able to navigate among my feeds using shift+n, shift+k, shift+o, etc. This allows me to switch which feed I'm reading at any given time.

Stupid question....
Are the current keyboard shortcuts documented somewhere? If so, I can't find it. Thanks.

Just copy all the shortcuts from Google Reader for a start, you can't really call yourself "The same Google Reader only better" without that :)
Also recent Google Reader understands shortcuts typed in other layouts (at least in Russian: I can type "пф" instead of "ga" without noticing anything)

I also vote for a "mark all as read" keyboard shortcut!

As others have already said: shift + "a" to mark all posts in the current list as read.

"r" keybind to reload when viewing feeds, "u" to hide the stuff under add subscription
Having to click "All items" to see new items isn't cool.
The navigation takes up too much space, would be nice to hide it until it's actually needed. -

Please provide the n,p,x,o,v,N,P,O,A keyboard shortcuts like Reader has. Those are *really* useful.
Actually, *all* of the Reader keyboard shortcuts are good.

Any shortcut for "Mark all as read" would be much appreciated

To original poster: doesn't 'm' toggle between read/unread?

The Google Reader shortcuts are well thought out and very efficient for power users. N/P/X/O (upper case) to navigate folders, n/p/j/k/v/m for articles. s/t, etc for tagging and sharing. -/= for feed zooming. All the g- combos for gross navigation. "/" for the search box. Great. Great. Great. Power user great.

In Google Reader, I'm used to use the "g + something" shortcuts. So, for example "g + a" goes to all items, and "g + t + first few letters of a tag + Enter" goes to that tag. -

+1 duplicate Google Reader shortcuts. 'o' opening in new tab instead of expand/collapse is killing me. If that has to stay, please at least provide a different keyboard shortcut for expand/collapse as it's currently missing. Thanks.

Provide the same shortcuts as Google Reader so I don't have to retrain my fingers.
