The space bar should make you go to the next feed after the last article within a feed.
Just like in Google Reader

Please fix this. In Google Reader the space bar would take you to the next unread feed, and if that was in the next folder it would move you into that next folder. The Old Reader effectively gets stuck once you get the end of all feeds in a folder. So instead, I now have to click on the next folder to activate it, so I'm forced to combine keyboard actions (space bar) with mouse clicks, which is not a very friendly interface.

shift+space doesn't work properly either, it jumps to the start of the feeds, not a screen or a feed up as supposed.

Yes please! This is one of things I miss most about Google Reader. I know you have keyboard shortcuts for going to the next feed but they don't actually work (I'm on Chrome on a Mac running Lion). And, even if they did, it wouldn't be as simple as the space bar.

Also, it would be super swell if the mobile web interface had an on-screen button that did the same thing (go to next article), because even if you have a qwerty keyboard, most mobile browsers do not send the keystrokes to the page. Google Reader's android app used to have on-screen next/prev buttons, but they took them away in the latest release in favor of swiping left and right. The buttons were preferable, because when I'm holding the phone in one hand, swiping my thumb across is actually quite a bit more difficult than just tapping.

+1 for space key going to the next unread feed!

Really? I didn't know that could be done. I do know pressing the ENTER key (which I was about to vote for) will get you to the next feed. I could live with the space bar though.
