[List view] Add button to open a post in a new window
I would appreciate it very much if there were a button available for each post in the list view such that it would allow me to open the post in a new window/browser tab. Upon clicking this button, the post should be marked as read.

It would be great if this feature was implemented in TOR. No need to uncollapse item to read it in a new tab!

I support this too. Like in Google Reader there was a button to open a post in new tab/window without to expand post and then click title to go there. Please add button like in Google Reader. It is not so difficult to add it, you already have event click from post-title!

I really want to be able to open in a new tab. My service is sometimes very slow. If I can open in a new tab, then one can load as I read another one. I'm still searching for a reader that will allow me to do this.

@Mattias Hansson: The thing is that middle click does not work as of now. At least not in the latest Chrome, FF, and IE. I haven't tried Opera or other browsers but I guess it would be pointless, since in all the three browsers I tested middle click only brought up the little thingy for scrolling.
As for right click, I was not able to open any post in new tab/window this way either.

Could probably be useful for those without a middleclick button of to lazy to rightclick and select open in new window.
Best location for it would probably be a tiny button right after the title of the article (As in GR)

I fully support this. A simple icon, on the far end of each item, would work fine. It should link to the page for that item, not the homepage for the source. For bonus points, open in a new browser tab, by default.
