Clicking Item Marks it as Read
Clicking an item to mark it as read seems like an obvious feature. It's the default in web browser, emails and various feed readers, such as Bloglines, Net Vibes and Sage. It is also available in Google Reader as a Grease Monkey extension (https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/140290). Adding it to the Old Reader seems like a no brainer. Thanks!

Should be working as expected.
Currently may be buggy in Internet Explorer, but we’ll fix.

Nope, now it won't work, maybe I was mistaken earlier. It's not just clicking, even scrolling. These options all remove the green bar, but clicking "all items" or any individual source refreshes the read item back to the top of the queue, making it very difficult to dredge through a queue of any serious length.

Ok, moments later, it worked as expected. No idea.

Note, I still cannot get this feature to work in Firefox (ESR 17.0.3).
Clicking an item makes the green "unread" bar disappear, sure, but clicking "All Items" restores the item to the unread state, so it's impossible to click a few items, then click "all items" to clean up the main queue.

Hmm, you're right, it does work if I command click, but doesn't with Firefox's QuickDrag extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quickdrag/). Any idea why? Sage works either way. Not a big priority, but if this could be ironed out that would be great! Thanks!
