middle clicking a collapsed item's title to open the source link
Some of my feeds have items when clicked on only show a title and no or limited content. It would be great if there was an option to middle click on collapsed items and have them act as a link so that it may be viewed in a new tab. This would save a whole step of having to uncollapse it and click on the title and would allow quick opening of multiple items that are like this.

I prefer to add some button like Google Reader to open direct source link. For me middle click did not work and if you use tablet or smart phone middle click is not useful

I double that. This or a little button next to the title. Google Reader had a button on the right side of the entry, but this led me many times to opening wrong article. I will probably dig into userscripts if this won't get implemented.
Also important: middle clicking should mark article as read! Left clicking should act the same as middle clicking OR open article in the same window (and still mark as read).

This feature is very necessary !
Every time we open title, something that would go on the news, and it's very tiring.
