Provide a partial mark-as-read mechanism for list view
In Google Reader's mobile view, you get essentially a list view, but it only shows 15 posts at a time, and lets you mark just those 15 as read. Something similar is needed for The Old Reader's list view. Either give us the ability to see them in smaller chunks, like Google does, or enable the "scrolling past posts marks them as read" feature for list view as well as full view. Without one of the other of these, if you have a busy feed and only time to read part of it at a given moment, you have no way to keep track of what you have or haven't read when in list view. E.g. a feed that has 100 unread posts, if I only have time to scan through 50 right now, I don't want to mark all as read, because I'm going to come back for the other 50, but I also don't want to have to click the 50 I saw individually. I probably didn't actually read them all, just decided most were not interesting.
Thanks.

That's funny - I was just going to request that "Scroll past to mark as read" be turned off for list view and work only in full view, or maybe having two settings, one that determines the behavior in list and one in full (since some people seem to want it opposite ways). When in list view, I want to be able to pick and choose certain items to read, so they are marked as read only when I open them, but save the rest for later unless I explicitly click "Mark all as read" I guess since this has been implemented the other way by request there's no point in my doing so. Argh.
