We can remove them only with The Old Reader itself. The whole idea of this project is to bring back the old social features of RSS reader.

Hi,
After trying feedly and netvibes, I think TOR is the best, with its clear interface, it just does the job properly. Thank you for this great work guys.
However, I would like to disable the social function, especially I don't want to be followed. I use RSS to work and I would like to keep this information private.
I didn't find how to do so, can you please help me.
