Stop stealing the K key
I would be happy to opt-out of all keyboard shortcuts, but this one is particularly irritating, as it prevents you from closing the browser window in the most straightforward way.

Please make current feed indicator go the full width of the nav panel.
The current indicator (green bar) in the nav panel is pretty subtle and easy to miss. I'd like to see this highlight the entire row of the selected feed.

Add a "Go to article" button at bottom of article
Often after reading a long article in tOR, I want to go to the original blog to make a comment. However, I have to scroll back up to the beginning to get to the link. I'd like a button next to the star/mark as read/send to/etc. buttons that will take me to the original article.

Add Subscription directly to a folder
It would be nice to be able to add a new subscription directly to folders you already have.
Either via some shortcut like '###<foldername>' at the end of the URL or surface it as a dropdown in the Add Subscription UI.

Prevent the username field from auto-completing on Android during login
When I login with Chrome on Android 4.4.2, I use my email address as my username:
Username: foobar@example.com
But, when I type the period as part of dot com, Android thinks I am writing a sentence and proceeds to autocorrect the email address, typically replacing it with something like:
Username: foo bar @ example.
Yes, a backspace immediately after the period will undo the autocorrect, but I typically am looking at the keyboard and I don't notice the mistake until it is too late.

Fix infinite scroll preloader behaviour
You are using infinite scroll, it's great.
Which means, you load X element, then when we are close to the end of the loaded elements, you are preloading the next X elements, and so on.
But if you are using "n" key to navigate into a feed, you may face the following issue.
Let say that you want to read a feed that contains a lot of articles thats contain a lot of text or images
You may consider that few of them are interesting, then by reading the title you will know that you don't need to read the…

Small UX issue while navigating with "n" key at end of a feed
When using scrollbar you will see the "No posts below this line. Probably you have read them all." when you reach the end of the feed.
But when using "n" key to navigate from article to article, you won't never know that you reached it. Nothing to inform/warn you.
It happens to me when I'm reading a feed where the last post does not fit in the screen (it may contain images or a lot of text, that prevent you to see the bottom of the article), you won't see the "end of feed" message.
Then you will try to…

Fix drag-and-drop in Firefox
Using the latest Firefox on Mac OS X, when I drag-and-drop feeds into folders they never seem to hit the right folder. The moved feed always seems to appear in the folder previous.

Pinned items
Pinned items remain in the feed even after using 'Mark all as read'
It is different to Starred items as you aren't forced to view your pinned items confusingly all mixed together, they remain in their feed until manually unpinned.

Unify the commenting system with other readers (such as Inoreader)
For a true global and distributed RSS community, today's main reader platforms could join to create a standard protocol for comment sharing.
This would enable them to "integrate" the comments for news items; for example: user A uses The Old Reader, and posts a comment on a news item (some slashdot article); user B, who uses Inoreader, when seeing this same news item in his viewer, is able to see the comments from user A, and to reply to them; the reply would also be visible in user A's feed.

Highlight Current Spritz Word
When Sprtizing, the context of the word in the article gets lost. I don't know where in a paragraph I am, I don't know where in the article I am... I just lose so much context I have with "traditional" left/right scanning.
If the current Spritz word were highlighted, the speed benefits of Spritz would combine with the context of the article, helping me parse more information.

Sort bookmarks by name of the channel from which they are added
Because when a large number of bookmarks in them difficult to navigate. And so it would be very easy to open bookmarks and see the channels marked with the news, and then expand the desired channel and access all bookmarks with this channel.

Add mechanism to modify feeds
It would be nice if we could modify the feeds contents after being retrieved. Some feeds like the ones from Youtube contain lots of information, but not in any place that's usable. I would like to be able to apply some XSLT to the entries to create a modified entry with the information I want.

Convert any site into a RSS Feed
Before I make a subscription to the Old Reader, I have one question. Is it possible to use Old Reader to generate RSS feed from any source of website? I'd like to subscribe the Old Reader service forever if it can! Thanks !

Allow us to sort in random order.
Instead of just "normal" and "reverse," it would be nice to be able to randomize the order in which items are displayed.
