sync read/unread with 3rd party apps (ie Reeder)
I like to look at my RSS feeds on different platforms and in different places (PC at work, Mac at home, iOS while on the train). This means I log in using different web-browsers and apps depending on my location. I would like to be able to seamlessly continue with the apps I currently own and sync between them so I only ever see "new" items.

show feed name next to title in Trending
and allow me to click through to the whole feed
1 voteUnfortunately, shared posts can belong to private RSS feeds that users might not want to share.
However, every post includes a link to the website, so you can go there and check if it has an RSS feed you can subscribe to.
We hope this helps.

Allow sharing for any page (not just from subscribed RSS feeds)
Google Reader used to have a function where you could paste in and share any URL, not just posts from feeds you subscribe to. Would love to see that here.
And a toolbar widget to share any URL would be even better!

"r" keybind to reload when viewing feeds, "u" to hide the stuff under add subscription
Having to click "All items" to see new items isn't cool.
The navigation takes up too much space, would be nice to hide it until it's actually needed.3 votesPlease add this as a comment here: http://theoldreader.uservoice.com/forums/187017-feature-requests/suggestions/3439783-extend-keyboard-shortcuts

show in the list of subscriptions only those ones for which there are updates
It seems now that all the subscriptions show in the list, no matter if there are updates or not. One of the great efficiencies of RSS is that it doesn't show me things that I don't need to check. Please fix!

Display content excerpt next to title in list view
This is an incredibly useful feature as it allows the user to a key part of each entry without expanding it in list view.
Also there should be a difference between j/k and n/p in list view. Now all four operations automatically expands the entry, which is a bad idea.

Непрочтенное/прочтенное
Сделайте пожалуйста разницу визуально более значимо. Просто бордера слева не очень хватает для комфортного различия.

Transfer The Vote Count
When you decline a a request because it's a duplicate, transfer the votes acrued to the surviving Feature Request.
That would reflect the wishes of the community, and not make those who voted on the duplicate feel their votes got wasted.

something like starred Items
it could be beautiful if it could be possible to have something similar to "starred items" function and import it from google reader.

Hide feed and folder without unread items
It would be nice to hide feed and folder without unread items, this will be easier to navigate between all my feeds.
Thanks :)

"unread posts" sync with Google reader
Don't know if this is possible, but a full sync of all read/unread posts between Google and The Old Reader would be awesome, so one can easily switch between those amazing readers anytime

Import from Google using oauth2
Replace current direct Google import by oauth2 authentication. This will allow us to get user subscriptions without asking for their Google password.
