Links in Firefox open in Background tabs
When I control-click a link in a post it opens in a new tab, but it takes me to that tab. Then I have to make my way back to TOR. Instead, have the link open in a tab in the background. This happens in Chrome but not in FF for some reason.

Please unbold/grey/change color of headlines that have been opened and read.
Please differentiate between headlines that have been clicked on, and read, as opposed to those that aren't clicked on.
It seems the green tag (unread) disappears after the headline is loaded, but headlines should only be marked "read" after being clicked on.

make the scrollbars work better
When I drag the scroll bar handle all the way down....it stops at the bottom but there is plenty more to read further down. If I then use my mouse wheel to go further - the scroll bar handle pops up to the center AND so does the content I already looked at....so dragging the scroll bar all the way down again does not let me see more content.

Mark item as read when opening it via keyboard shortcut
If I open an item in a new tab/window, I don't want to also have to mark it as read. If I open it, it's obviously for reading. The keyboard shortcuts make it easy enough to mark something as unread if a user wants to open something without marking it as read, but the default should assume that "opening" == "reading".

Allow users to add new feeds directly to a folder rather than making them add each feed and then move it to a folder.

Make the Titles a different color than the article text
Just so it's easier to see where a post ends when you're scrolling past it. I believe the ones in Google Reader were blue. You could do green!

deduplicate posts across feeds
Sometimes you get the same post from different feeds - mainly because of planet * feed aggregators. It would be nice if such posts were only displayed once.
The comparison should probably be based only on the message content itself, as posts titles and other metadata may vary.

speed up the UI when rearranging feeds
The UI hangs when I am rearranding a feed (e.g. dragging and dropping a feed into a folder or between folders). I have to keep the mouse pressed until it shows signs of moving.

Allow me to chose my language on http://theoldreader.com/
I hate when the system "think" that it better know what I need.

Do not reset cursor in "show unread only"
When current feed disappears from the menu, do not reset the cursor. Instead, jump to the next feed or avoid hiding the feed until you move off of it.

Export Liked
I would like to be able to export my Liked articles, in a way that allows them to be imported into another service. I see this is done already for feeds (OPML) and Shared (RSS), so I think adding of export of Liked would be a big step toward being to export all of a users data.

Notification after hitting the "add to Pocket" hotkey
Would be nice to show a msg like "Article sent to Pocket" after hitting the "f" hotkey for "Add to pocket"... I found myself sometimes repeatedly hitting the "f" key just to make sure that the article is sent... Thank you! =)

Access to "liked" posts thru API
I'm using gReader Android app. Since closure of google reader I'm looking for replacement which is supported by my app and has decent web interface. Yes, TOR has most readable and usable interface in my opinion, and what is most important - lightweight when compared to "creply floud". And it works well with gReader, except that, citing gReader's author: "API doesn't support marking as starred (liked) yet". So I politely ask - is this will be ever supported?

Find As You Type (type ahead find) Firefox
If you have Find As You Type (1) turned on in Firefox some keyboard shortcuts are broken.
I think most, if not all the g + something don't work.
Some work and don't activate Find As You Type ex: j, k
Some work but active Find As You Type: 1, 2You can try the same thing in Google Reader and their keyboard shortcuts (both single and multi-key) work without activating Find As You Type. So I believe there's a way to make a web app work with it?
