    I that really still a thing? Google Reader is dead for a while now. So couldnt we remove this and vote for better things?

    I have the same problem for some feeds.

    Instead of adding an option I would simply check if the attachment URL is used in the text and then display only that one. This should work for many scenarios.

    I think syntax highlighting is overkill. But there is been a lot potential to improve how preformated code is displayed in oldreader.
