  1. Allows feeds to be in multiple folders

In Google Reader I had multiple overlapping categories, and feeds duplicated between categories. Unless I'm missing something, TOR restricts feeds to a single category.

  5. up arrow behaviour

Strange behaviour of up and down arrow makes mixed arrow/scrollwheel navigation a bit confusing.

The up arrow seems to not move to the "next unopened item" in the list, but to the "first item in the list that is visible in the current viewable area".

Let's say I am scrolling a long list of items: some are visible on screen, some titles are up (outside of the viewable list), some are down: if I open a post, its title wil be aligned to the top of viewable area.
If then I scroll the page a bit up, revealing headlines of…

  6. Maintain the location in the list the selected feeds after all the items have been read

Use shift+n a couple times to select a feed.
Use shift+o to open the feed.
Use n until you have read all the items.
    Now press shift+n again

    EXPECTED
The sibling feed of the feed you just finished reading is selected. That is the feed that would be below the feed you just read, is selected.

    RESULTS
The feed at the top of the list is selected.

    NOTES
This is the Google reader behavior

  7. Fix "Clicking on a post scrolls to it" (again)

I appreciate that the "Clicking on a post scrolls to it" feature was improved, but the behavior is still not what I expect (i.e.: not the way Google Reader works, anyway).

Right now, the implementation seems to be "if a post's title is lower than the top of the reading pane and the post is clicked, scroll to it". This is a problem because I can be reading a post that is in the middle of the reading pane, select text, and boom it slides up, which is clearly unwanted. Also, it only works one way: when clicking on the…

  9. On mobile web interface, scroll to top of opened item

When I click to open a new item on the mobile safari version of the old reader, it closes the previously open item, collapsing it, and opens the new item, expanding it. Where the item's first line of text shows up, however, is completely random. When you open an article, the page should go directly to the top of that new article. The current behavior is maddening.

  10. Emulate Google Reader "compact view"

Google reader had a function call "compact view" and it compresses the headlines into a more e-mail like format.

  12. Have a "Next New" bookmarklet

I use Google Reader's "Next" button, that you can find under the goodies section. Once in my bookmark bar, I can click it to take me to the latest updates- on the actual blog or site. I love giving the sites hits and just visiting them.

  13. Mark as all as read by date option

In Google reader, until it's unfortunate demise, you can "mark all as read" but choose "items older than x." When sometimes you come online after days away from your feeds (vacation, a great weekend, long work binges, etc.) that is an incredibly useful feature.

  15. Show subscriber count and posts per week

One nice feature of Google Reader is you can tell how popular a feed is (or whether you've clicked the wrong one by accident) based on subscriber count. Also, if you show posts per week, I know I won't subscribe to one that inundates me with articles. Thanks.

  17. Package your app as a Firefox OS app

And releases it in the Firefox OS marketplace - currently it lacks a good feed reader and since you are already web based it should be pretty easy to get an app of the ground using some responsive designing and then you can iterate on it from there.
