Chinese interface
Would you please provide a Chineses interface? You know many chinese people use GR because it can show feeds outside the Great Fire Wall, and now when we turn to The Old Reader, because you're one of the few RSS readers that can do the same thing, we hope have a familiar interface. Thank you very much!

Minor bug: scrolling to mark as read not working by default
After opening a feed or folder, scrolling past does not mark items as read or update the unread count in the left sidebar.
Toggling the 'show all posts'/'show unread only' button after opening a feed DOES seem to tweak something that causes these to start working as expected, but whatever is getting tweaked resets itself again as soon as another feed/folder is clicked. It's slow and hard to remember to do that everytime a new feed is opened.
Loving the old reader, but having a hard time making it a daily driver until this is fixed - got a lot…

don't mark newer items as read when reading an older item
Say you open a category and there are 10 new, unread items. When you click the 5th item, it opens and you can read it. But now items 1-4 are also marked as read (no green bar anymore), while the items 6-10 are left unread.
This is confusing and unlogical, especially when you read chronologically (older items first, moving your way up).
3 votesPlease turn off ‘scroll to mark as read’ option in settings.

Adding feeds using GET
I mean ability to add feeds by link like this: http://theoldreader.com/feeds/add?url=%s
Then users will be able to use, for example, Chrome extensions for RSS subscriptions.3 votesThis is covered by ‘Tips & Tricks’ section on the main page.

allow me to unsubscribe from feeds
People didn't like the placement of the old "unsubscribe" button. Now, the button seems to be gone entirely. I don't even see an option to re-enable it. Was this intentional?
3 votes“Unsubscribe” button is now on the right-hand side from the feed title: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13904161/Screen%20Shot%202013-05-30%20at%208.09.41%20PM.png

Don't mark everything above the clicked-on post as read.
I read a lot of webcomics/time ordered content in and it is incredibly annoying that clicking on a post automatically marks everything above it (i.e. everything I'm about to read) as read. It means that I have no idea where I'm up to through a browser restart.
Please Please, never mark something as read if i've never actually opened and/or read it.
(Tested in Chrome/FF)

allow paste in password field
When I try to log in, it won't let me paste the password into the password field. That's stupid. It's not improving security, just making your tool harder to use.
3 votesWe do not prevent pasting the password into the password field, and we have just verified that it works fine on latest Chrome and Firefox.

Add CORS support to the API's servers
It would be great if developers could use CORS mechanism with the API.

Allow us to subscribe one year at a time.
For reasons best known to yourselves, you refuse to allow subscriptions or donations via paypal. This has prevented me from doing either so far.
However, I would be willing to use "Stripe" to donate/subscribe, if you'd allow a "one off" mode - I am sure I am not alone in being unwilling to enter a credit card subscription, as I would be dependent on Stripe's goodwill to cancel later. In the UK at least, credit card holders have no way of cancelling a credit card subscription via their own account (weird but true!).
3 votesWe’ve changed the cancellation process so that it doesn’t end the premium subscription immediately, but at the end of the payment period. This will effectively allow you to pay for one year.
Paypal is also a payment option.

Set maximum width and height for iframes (youtube and videos)
I love the new theme, and the fact you're doing a proper app, but could you please not forget about the desktop users? :)
It's not a biggie, but the videos are huge if I view the page in the browser... if you could add something like this to your css that would be great!
div.content.clearfix > div > p > div > iframe {
max-width: 500px;
max-height: 281px;
}3 votesWe’ve set the maximum width to be 800px on images and embedded videos.

manage folders
I want to be able to rename/remove folders
3 votesThere are currently 2 ways to manage your folders. You can double click on the folder names on the left feed list and rename. This will work on everything except the “Subscriptions” folder, which you cannot change/remove.
The second way is through the subscriptions management page here: https://theoldreader.com/subscriptions
In this interface, instead of renaming folders, you can move all the feeds from the folder you want to rename to a new folder.

Have the ability to import an OPML within a week
I guess you all are overwhelmed, but it's been a week and I am still tens of thousands from having my OPML imported. Giving up now.
2 votesActual import speed is quite good, one feed operation usually gets completed within several minutes. However, we have to throttle import operations to avoid overloading our server infrastructure.
So, unfortunately, current queue processing speed is the highest we can afford at the moment. If the amount of funds raised from the users (see http://blog.theoldreader.com/post/45927021785/sharing-is-sharing) allows, we might be able to bring additional hardware and get feeds imported faster.
In any case, The Old Reader is fully usable right away, you can add your favorite feeds manually, and start reading, following your friends, sharing, and discussing.

make the timestamps on the posts say when was it posted and not how long ago
I find it rather more useful to see when was the post created, posted or fetched instead of looking at how long ago was that. It is easier to read posts starting at a certain hour o time and not having to count back the hours. Thank you
2 votesYou can now hover the post to see exact timestamp.

Reduce delay in posting articles on TOR (make it premium?)
I have noticed a pretty significant delay (many hours) between the posting of an article in the original blog and seeing it on TOR at least for things like Krugman's blog). This is especially annoying for "big" blogs (like Krugman) where I want to get an early comment in, before inundation or even closing of comments. Please optimize this -- it is much worse than Google Reader was. If this requires more computing power, make it a premium feature -- if the price is reasonable ($2-5/mo?) and there are some other useful premium features (like faster opening of the article…
