We don't have any Nokia E72 to test, but mobile devices we have - several iOS and Android phones/tablets - work just fine.

Even though this does not seem like a valid feature request, we will leave it open just in case somebody with a similar device will be able to confirm that there are indeed some issues and provide more information that might help us troubleshoot.

So, your preferred language varies depending on the site you are visiting? That's a pretty exotic use case. You could find or code yourself a browser extension to change accept-encoding on a per-site basis.

Anyway, we are leaving the request open. Let's see how many people actually need this.

You can choose - just change the 'accept-language' http header your browser sends: http://hastebin.com/jufuxelihu

You can usually change the order of preferred languages in your browser settings.

Matthew, it has been marked as Completed by mistake, thanks for noticing. We have removed the mark.

Feel free to vote for this feature to get its priority increased.

Joonas, thanks a lot for detailed information. We did not realize you were using List View.

We have updated the description of this feature request accordingly.

We could not reproduce this issue. "Clicking a post scrolls to it" option seems to work properly in all browsers that we have access to.

If anybody comes up with a reliable way to reproduce this, please let us know, and we will investigate this further.

We are happy to announce that we have improved our feed update procedures and The Old Reader should now be fetching up to 100 posts per feed at once. This should resolve any issues with scientific journals that get updated every so often with large number of posts.

@Christian: you should not have any issues with your use case. When you subscribe to a new feed, we only parse first 20 posts, because most RSS feeds only contain 10-20 latest posts anyway. Additional posts are added to the feed as they are published, and we keep several hundred of latest posts for each active feed. We also keep liked/shared/commented posts indefinitely.

Guys, all extensions are open source, so feel free to patch them and submit pull requests on github.

Wim, of course it is possible. The extension is open source (https://github.com/knyar/theoldreader-chrome), you can patch it to open any URL you want when you click the icon.

Wim, what prevents you from just going directly to http://theoldreader.com/posts/all?

The recommended way to mark articles you want to refer back to is to use the Pocket integration.

    Hi Dewes,

Thank you for your kind feedback,
Please clarify, what did you mean by "close a folder from feeds"?

    Thank you!

Currently all settings are pretty consistent, because they apply to all feeds.

As we understand, you would like to be able to configure display settings for each feed separately, so we have adjusted the title of this feature request accordingly.

    Robby,

Our position on this issue is described in the Knowledge Base: http://theoldreader.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/146278-reading-area-is-too-wide-can-you-make-it-smaller-

However, I will not be closing this feature request just yet, let's see if there are any other people who really find this inconvenient.
