keyboard navigation doesn't work as I'd expect
j and k, rather than going to the post before or after the currently expanded post, go to the post before or after the post that is currently at the top of the page.
When viewing posts in list form, I expect navigation to work in relation to the currently expanded post. As it is, if I scroll the page at all, j and k work in a suprising and not totally predictable way.

Log in with Google account and you can't read the GReader stream? This makes me nut.
I think I did say everything on the title. Once you have people logging in with a third party OTP, it mean you are effectively able to gather relevant info on the entire account.
What's the point to not read the GReader stream and import automatically saving the hassle for people to export and import their OPML again?1 vote -
Create several favorites folder
I am putting interesting posts (not feeds) into my favorites folder.
Due to the reason that I have feeds of different topics, I would like to arrange the entries in the favorites folder by my personal order.
For example:
favorites folder 1 only contains posts from "computer feeds"
and
favorites folder 2 only contains posts from "car feeds"
etc.Question (suggestion of a new feature):
Is it possible to create more than one favorites folder or list ?

Allow users to buy extra votes.
I like the old reader and I am willing to put my money where my mouth is when asking for new features. Let me buy extra votes so that it can go some way to funding the new features.

Move Pocket button to top of post
The Pocket button should go at the top of a post. I know almost immediately whether something is interesting but too long to read currently; I know before scrolling down the whole post (which is always going to be long). And I dislike scrolling so much because I'm afraid I might scroll right into the next post and mark things read by accident.

Open post page in frame
Open the target article in frame within Ye Olde Reader or at least add the button that will directly take me to the article (that shows on the right of each entry in Google Reader).
Basically, a lot of the sites I follow doesn't include the whole article in the feed, with a link to continue reading. So please add the button to take me directly to the article as Google Reader has done or load the feed target directly in a frame (loading it after clicking on it's entry).

Allow users to turn off favicons in feed list
Most people like favicons. I don't. I know, I'm weird. I have them turned off in Firefox. It would be great if I could also turn them off in The Old Reader. It would save you some bandwidth in fetching them, and it would make my feed list look less like a Turkish Bazaar.

repeat gifs rather than just playing them once
gifs only play once, but should repeat indefinitely.

Show which feeds have the least number of articles I read in them
I consume my feeds at a folder level rather than the individual feed level, some feeds contain a large number of posts.
It would be great if in the same way you display dead feeds you could display feeds where I rarely view the content (other than scanning through the headings). For example on feed Y tell me that I only expanded or visited 2% of the posts.
This feature would be useful where you have multiple related feeds to ensure a wide converge and want to flag up and remove those sources which are not as good.

Sign out of Pocket
I'd like to be able to sign out of Pocket, either to remove the option or switch pocket accounts.

sharing/loving at the top of articles
The "share" and "love" buttons are at the end of each articles.
Sometimes I don't have the time to read a long article with a promising title.Actualy I have to scroll down to the end of the article to be able to "love" it and get a link to the article so I can read it later.
I would suggest either adding a "read later" or "put inside to read later" button OR put the love button at the top of every article, following the title.

Date format
Please could we have a choice of date format. 2013-04-28 08:07:00 UTC means not a lot to me. Smallest to largest would be better, time, day, month, year.

Save to Pinboard.in
Ideally, you would be able to just save the post and mark it for reading later both are avilable via their API.

allow the feed label to be hidden/moved
When viewing multiple feeds in the list view (e.g. when looking at All Items or a folder containing multiple feeds) it is hard to scan down the list as the green feed labels are all different sizes, meaning the feed titles aren't all left aligned.
An option to hide the labels, or move them to the right (i.e. end of the line) or have them all set to the same length would be nice.

view feed from Chrome extension
with google reader, you can click the extension icon and view the feed w/o having to open the program in an internet window. can mark items as read and refresh feed, even sort by tag....almost like a shortcut.

Auto log off
Add a configuration option to auto log off users that close the browser tab. This is needed to prevent google account hacking by opening The old reader before the password protected goggle accounts that do not log in ayuthomatically.. .

Auto Scrolling
Have the option to have the feeds scroll down automatically, perhaps at variable speeds and then be able to stop the scrolling when an article you want to read comes up.

Charge based on the frequency of feed refreshes
I'm new and really want to use this site as my RSS Feed Reader, but it is very slow to refresh my feeds so I can read new posts. I know you are inundated with new users and to make this site really fast will require lots of server resources. I'm used to Google Reader checking my feeds every few minutes and me noticing there are unread updates waiting to be read. So you can afford to use Cloud-based hosting and use as many servers as you need to be able to update my feeds every few minutes, I suggest…
