Collapse article you're not interested ASAP wherever you want, even in the middle of an article
When you're in the middle of article, and you show no interests on it. You want to collapse the article, back to the list view to overall rest of article, but when you try to click top-middle position to collapse it, you realize you've to scroll page up, so you can collapse it with its title. Or you've to scroll page down, expand next title and collapse it again to have an overall view. And these useless scroll up/down, expand/collapse is really crazy.

Pause (or turn off) feed updates
I'd like to be able to pause (or turn off) the updating of a feed. I have a number of job search feeds that pipe in search results from Monster, Careerbuilder, etc. into TOR. This took a long time to set up and I don't want to lose it, but I have a job now so I don't need the feeds to update and clutter up my list of feeds. In essence, I would keep track of the feed even if I don't want the content from it right now. This would also be to your benefit by reducing the…

Auto translate posts
I have some feeds where some posts are in languages other than English thus can't read them. I'd find it extremely useful if I could have those auto translated to a language that I can read so that I can understand what is going on. This needs to be done on a post by post basis as each post is potentially a different language, rather than at the feed level.

Folders in folders, option "collapsed folders"
I have many folders with many feeds in it. If I was able to use subfolders I would be able to organize everything better.
I also think there should be an option to have all the folders collapsed from the beginning. No matter what screensize I'm using, 8" to 27", I want all the folders to be collapsed from the start.

Option to hide counter at unread feeds in sidebar
Having a count at each feed items introduces a negative pressure to me. Instead ive disabled this feature in Google Reader to only highlight the feeds with unread items.

Go to the next unread feed when clicking "Mark all as read" button
Clicking "Mark all as read" button should go to the next unread feed. It seems kinda superfluous having to go left to sidebar back with your mouse when quickly scanning through feeds.
This feature request kinda goes hand in hand with already existing feature request that space bar goes also to the next unread feed.

Size the subscription bar contents better
This might be a bug report rather than a feature request. In Firefox 20.0 or Safari 5.1.9 on a Mac or Firefox 20.0.1 on Windows, the subscription bar on the left abbreviates subscription names too much.
For example, one of my subscriptions has the title "Office of the Privacy Commissioner", but in the subscription bar, it is shown as "Office of t..." followed by about a quarter of the width as blanks.
If I shrink the text or increase the size of the window, I see more, but I still have a great big blank section on the right side…

Counter of unread posts
Feed title should contain a counter of unread posts, probably somewhere near the "Mark all as read" button.

minimize profile panel
Is there a way to minimize the profile panel so that it doesn't take up a third of the real estate on my monitor? Thanks.

Allow share of individual items into specific shared folders
Pretty please with pizza on top? I am a power GR user, Amd run one of Writers Digest Best 101 Websites for Writers. One of my regular features is that I curate content for other writers. I do this by integrating BufferApp into Google Reader and using it to Tweet selected items. After that, I assign a specific folder to the post. I have the feeds from those folders shared into the blog sidebars, and I use those feeds to generate my weekly round-up of important posts people should read.
So, several questions, wish list items.
1) Share individual posts…

Sharing a collection of articles in a magazine like formate.
I need to have a feature that allow users to share a few articles in a magazine formate. I want to tag them as "Week-1 June-13" or like "Diabetes", "Childbirth". Then if my followers want they can just click on any tag and find these articles that I have tagged. This just simple tagging. I used to do it on Google Reader through exporting the feeds to Google Blogger and then share it with my subscribers (people who want me to select articles every week for them from around 150 feeds)

Pocket: tagging
After sending the post to Pocket we should present user a separate form that will allow him/her to enter pocket tags. We could also store a cached list of tags and show input suggestions, however this will be quite cumbersome, because the only way to get the list of all tags is to fetch all user items.

Increase the limits of the low-end premium plan.
I can't remember how much I'm paying right now without going back and looking, but I think it's $4 per month. That's fine, but perhaps you could raise the price by $1 and increase the limit to 2000 feeds?

Add AI-powered ranking of articles
Do you subscribe to too many feeds or too fast ones? Both? Me too. That's why I wrote a machine learning-based ranking service (https://github.com/piccolbo/rightload). But it needs to be integrated with a reader. It would also be more powerful the more people use it.
